I can't begin to explain how phenomenal my first Voorkamer Fest experience was! The community of Darling are so warm and generous. Everything from the taxi rides, the shows and stalls were so well organised and meeting the locals was such a pleasure!
Hope you get many more sponsors to keep this great initiative growing and to uphold the high standard you have placed!
Well done to all at Voorkamer Fest. To many more great events like this one!

This was our first Voorkamerfest. Next year will be our second and the year after our third and the year after our fourth and the . . . . . Wow what a concept! Thanks to each and everyone who participated in so many ways - arranging, organising, transporting, feeding (solids and liquids), performing. And also to all our fellow audience members who all contributed to one helluva weekend. We were entertained by nine great shows, but I shall not be honest to myself if I do not make special mention of Lucy Holgate (is she really an alcoholic?????) and the incredible Ubuntu B Boys. Fortunately the week lies ahead for us to catch up on some much needed sleep.
