Glyn Lewis

Glyn Lewis hails from Jersey, in the Channel Islands, and lived in Cape Town most of his life, working as a high school teacher and raising a family. He is now a resident of Darling and a working musician.

He has played folk/rock ballads in and around Cape Town for over 40 years, and to date has played over 850 gigs on the West Coast.

Glyn’s Voorkamerfest showcase called “Video Killed the Radio Star”, focuses on the Poetic Story-telling in Song in some of the classic folk/rock ballad hits of a certain era,  from a time where just the song alone, perhaps on a transistor radio, or around a fire, would tell the whole story.  🙂  “Prepare to journey with Glyn, to a bygone year.”
