Graham Weir is a multi-award winning actor and singer best known for his work with the comedy accapella group Not the Midnight Mass whom he has been performing with since 1988. Other recent highlights include his one man show Dead Yellow Sands which won two Fleur du Cap awards in 2016 (best performance in a one man show or Cabaret and Best Lighting) and was nominated in both these categories at the recent Naledi Awards in Johannesburg in 2018.  His most recent TV appearance was in Hotel playing Oom Dirk for which he was nominated for best supporting actor in the 2107 SAFTA awards.

Graham has twice been musical director for Shakespeare productions at Maynardville (‘Two Gentlemen of Verona’ and ‘As you Like it’) and some of the music that will be sung at the VoorKamerfees was first heard at Maynardville.

Graham is also acclaimed for his original compositions as heard in Noah of Cape Town (Artscape and Baxter Theatres), not the Midnight Mass, Letters from Patient Essop amongst others, and has recorded a number of solo works as well as albums with Not the Midnight Mass.
